Celestial Whale Shark

Sometimes, the ocean feels like a large pool of stars, and this whale shark, with his constellation of spots, blends right in!

There is another NeedleLot Designs pattern in this same celestial style: Celestial Orcas! They are the same size and look great together.

PRACTICAL INFORMATION:

This design uses 8 DMC colours and requires half stitches in addition to full stitches. The half stitches are intended to let the fabric show through, but for a deeper, more saturated look, you can opt to use full stitches in these areas instead.

Fabric used in the image: Zweigart Belfast linen 'Vintage Blue' 5139.

The pattern is 148 stitches wide x 71 stitches high. On count 14 fabric, the design is 10-1/2 inches wide x 5 inches high, or 26.9cm wide x 12.9cm high. The pattern also contains measurements for 16 and 18 count Aida.
