Lost Flower Blade
Reading about fantasy heroes often means reading about swords and warriors. Perhaps a blade here or there gets lost and reclaimed by nature, before it is found and used again...
This blade may be lost, but you don't have to lose your place in the book you're reading! If you turn this pattern into a lovely bookmark, you'll always be ready for another adventure!🗡️💜
PRACTICAL INFORMATION:
This design uses 15 DMC colours and requires no backstitching.
This bookmark was stitched on 14ct white plastic canvas, trimmed to size, and backed with white felt. The felt was attached by stitching around the edges with a single strand of DMC B5200. Plastic canvas gives a lovely, sturdy finish, but it can be a bit tough to stitch through, so I recommend using a smaller tapestry needle for easier stitching!😊
The pattern is 33 stitches wide x 117 stitches high. On count 14 fabric, the design is 2-1/2 inches wide x 8-1/2 inches high, or 6cm wide x 21.2cm high. The pattern also contains measurements for 16 and 18 count Aida.
